What I liked

I loved the work environment - There is great synergy between coworkers and interns. Also, our tasks were based on what we had learned in school and helped build a solid resume.

What I wish was different

If they included some type of pay. For example they could have provided with transportation costs since the workplace is in Midtown New York.

Advice

Proficiency in excel, graphic design and financial products like annuities, ETFs, and good personal finance knowledge is incredibly valuable for employers as the tasks rely on these skills and help the teams on their day-to-day work.

What I liked

Great experience working in the front office. Exposure to senior executives and management. Work is engaging, fun and challenged me to be innovative. Learned a lot about the products, business units and insurance industry. They make it fun for interns with various events like bowling, Dave and Busters, ping pong, picnics, etc.
