Regina, the gallery director was personable, pragmatic and very skilled.
The hours were also flexible for my needs while juggling two other internships. I learned a thorough variety of skills applicable to arts field including sales, handling, show install and communication with artists.
What I wish was different
More time! The owners were ready to retire, so unfortunately the gallery closed this October.
Advice
Don't be afraid to apply for a position that seems challenging. So many of the skills I learned at this internship were firsts for mw, and I have left it feeling confident and ready for the next step!
