What I liked

I liked being able to experience many areas of HR and having a preview of the diverse tasks that HR has to do on a daily basis.

What I wish was different

I wish the compensation was a little higher and that the internship was more structured to ensure an efficient flow of learning. I also wish the HR department had done more to work on the company culture wish was clear to everyone that it wasn't working, but no one wanted to take on that initiative.

Advice

I would say that as an intern, I had to really push to asks for more tasks and to stay productive. It oftentimes felt like you just complete a checklist of things and then you're done, if I were to do it differently, I would have pushed myself to be more strategic and proactive to bring real change instead of just doing what I was told.
