Know what you’re getting yourself into, understand that it isn’t a easy and laidback job but the environment is great and it’s a great pay.

Everyone was friendly, willing to let me sit in meetings, and I gained a better understanding of local government.

That I had been more regular communication with my boss. He was a busy man.

Try reaching out to places that could seem like a long shot. You may be surprised with a good experience.
