About Manhattan College- Office of Career Pathways

The Office of Career Pathways houses the Center for Career Development (CCD) and the Center for Graduate School & Fellowship Advisement (CGSFA). Both offices work together to help students and alumni identify interests, develop realistic goals, gain relevant and necessary experience, overcome challenges, and make informed decisions about their future.

The mission of the Office of Career Pathways is to contribute to the educational and professional development of students by helping them discern their vision for what constitutes a meaningful and purpose-driven career. We accomplish this by providing comprehensive, person-centered career counseling, programs, and events that encourage students to consider all career pathways, including graduate school and employment opportunities. We honor the uniqueness of all schools, providing diverse professional opportunities across disciplines and industries. Our approach facilitates engagement by employers, alumni and all devoted to the professional success of our students.

“I enjoyed the whole experience. It was different for me because I’m a commuter but I got to dorm along with the students and the rest of my peers so that was really fun. We got free meals and transportation for the broadway show and the museum and I also really enjoyed those trips. English is also my strongest subject so I’m glad that I was able to help them write their college essays or edit their college essays the best way that I could because I know that I was of great help and I was able to see their different styles and how their personalities are through their writing. ”
