Creative Marketing Intern

What I liked

The Internship program was out of this world. The Intern experience team did a fantastic job at sharing helpful, applicable resources. We, as an intern class, had numerous workshops on career development including Resume/Interview/career-building/public speaking workshops. Interns had numerous opportunities to personally connect with C-Suite executives through "Breakfast with Executives" Q&As and intern projects. I am personally connected with the Chief People Officer of Adaptive Insights, Amy Reichanadter, because of this Intern program.

What I wish was different

There is an internship group project component of the program. It was a lot (sometimes it felt distracting from my roles as Creative Marketing Intern), but it resulted in some of my favorite memories from this summer.

Advice

Don't be afraid to reach out to people whom you look up to! If the company's culture is right, executives will be more than willing to foster a meaningful relationship with you.
