Workstudy

What I liked

It is a great area to help teach you about all of the resources at my college and it also helps me to pay for tuition. More so, it keeps me in the mindset of education and I am near all of my classes so it works well with my scheduling.

What I wish was different

I don't believe there's anything I wish had been different considering I am still working there now. I plan on continuing to work here until I graduate with my bachelor's degree, but there's anything that I wish would've been different.

Advice

It is important to be patient and aware of the many different backgrounds that can come into a place. Just because you may think something is, knowledge does not mean that it's common knowledge everyone else and it's important to approach that with an understanding.

Advice

In today's competitive market, I cannot express how important it is to network. Network with people in the same field, as well as outside your field of study. I have had many opportunities simply by knowing someone who knew about an opening. Persistence pays off. When one door closes, another opens. Try not to get discouraged, you want the right door to open.
