I spent time shadowing each department, so I was doing something new every week and working on different projects with different teams.
What I wish was different
Less time in departments that did not interest me, I did not need to spend time in Finance or Human Resource. I would have preferred to spend more time in sales and marketing.
Advice
I would definitely recommend to anyone to participate in an internship program while they are in college. It is a great experience that allows you to get a feel of how a corporate structure looks like and could help narrow down your selection of a career path.
