This company has great benefits, and the people are great to work with. While not related to my career goals, the experience I gain working with different people gives me valuable perspective.

I wish I had more hands on experience before starting this position.
Advice
Get ready for the long hours at work. It can be tedious sometimes, you come home exhausted so make sure you get plenty of rest every night.

What I liked
I liked the freedom to choose what I wanted to work on, while still having the structure of bigger ongoing projects to keep you busy. I got to work with many different departments with the projects I worked on.
What I wish was different
Due to COVID-19, many people started working from home. I still worked in the office, so sometimes it was hard to get help with issues.
Advice
Ask a lot of questions, don't be afraid to ask if you can work with other departments to learn more.

Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. They would go out of their way to help if I had any questions or concerns.

Work comes in cycles, so I wish there was more to keep me busy at the low times
