I loved getting to work with HMC alumni as well as experienced company executives. I got to see what a consulting systems engineering company looks like.
What I wish was different
I wish we hadn't switched projects as often as we did, however it seemed like the norm due to the nature of always trying to get new contracts.
Advice
You will get take responsibility for your own work, but be prepared to put it on hold if another, more urgent project comes along. It can be fun to learn about such a wide variety of projects, though!
