BCBSNC had an excellent company culture and made me feel welcome right away.
I had a supportive team and was able to learn from industry experts while improving my skills.
Throughout the internship I was also able to meet senior leadership from every division, including the CEO.

There are a lot of opportunities for networking and I would recommend taking as many of them as possible in order to expand your professional circle.

Everyone was very willing to help and encouraged me. I did real projects that the company actually used after I left.

I wish I would have networked more outside of my area

Get to know anyone and everyone and don’t be afraid to ask for help! Take initiative, ask for more work if you can.
