I like being able to work as a server for a good amount of time to get to know how the restaurant operated with everyone working together.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been allowed to stay at my home store, Addison, to be able to do my internship instead of being moved to the renovated store, Plano.
Advice
Make sure the company/managers that are going to be in charge of your internship are going to take it seriously, and make sure everything is actually set in stone before completely agreeing to do your internship with them.

What I liked
I love the people I worked with. They are all college students like myself and we were like one big family.
What I wish was different
I wish you could ask off for certain days you need to be off for (ex: appointment, out of town, etc.)
Advice
Work hard and be ready to work. It's not for the lazy.
