What I liked

I enjoyed getting to learn about many different parts of the Land Trust and develop my knowledge and skills within the area of environmental education and programming.

What I wish was different

More hands-on work with and feedback from my supervisor would have provided additional learning experiences.

Advice

Make sure to go in seeking additional learning opportunities! I found the people at the Land Trust to be very open to teaching me about things outside of my position when I asked!

Special Projects Video Intern

What I liked

Working at the Blue Mountain Land Trust was overall a great experience. The staff at the Land Trust are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Working for them I had the opportunity to work independently on creative video projects, which allowed me to improve my video making skills. I enjoyed the amount of creative control I had over these projects.
