I enjoyed the uniqueness of my job. I was able to work from 20 to 40 hours a week based off of my weekly schedule. I was also able to get hands on applicable experience using the material I learned in my previous classes.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten more progress done. I normally only worked a little more than 20 hours a week, since I had two jobs, and was unable to accomplish as much as would be preferable.
Advice
Feel free to ask professors about openings in their labs. They are often impressed by the students showing of initiative to ask them in person.
