Company culture is amazing! They are super helpful and willing to help you succeed, you just have to be willing to reach out. There is plenty of opportunity to hang out with fellow interns and after work with other employees.
What I wish was different
A lot of the intern hang outs were planned by the interns, not the company itself. There would be talk of us doing something, but it would never really pan out.
Advice
Focus on your project! Considering the company size, your project could have a pretty big effect on company decisions. You need help ask for it, somebody will make time to help.
