BOSS Snowplow

Design Engineering Intern

January - August 2023 • Iron Mountain, MI

What I liked

The people and culture at Boss were incredibly positive. They call themselves a family and they truly live up to that. I also enjoyed the variety of work I got to experience during my time there. From testing, to assembling prototypes, to CAD work, I felt as though I gained valuable experience in a variety of tasks.

What I wish was different

The housing situation in Iron Mountain is difficult. I had trouble finding a place to stay and that was stressful before I started my internship.

Advice

It very much benefitted me that I was willing to help out on a variety of projects going on, I would advise that you stay open to many different kinds of tasks and you'll learn quite a bit and gain valuable experience.
