Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC)

About Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC)

The mission of BCNC is to ensure that the children, youth, and families we serve have the resources and supports they need to achieve greater economic success and social well-being.

Since 1969, BCNC empowers Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities by providing a broad range of innovative and family-centered programs and services to more than 8,000 children, youth, and adults every year.

BCNC and its eight programs have received local and national recognition. BCNC is located in the heart of Chinatown at three sites. At 885 Washington Street, BCNC is part of the Josiah Quincy School building and, in 2005, BCNC created a permanent home at 38 Ash Street, a five story community center and the first certified green building in Chinatown. In May 2018 BCNC opened the Pao Arts Center at 99 Albany Street, Boston to provide arts and cultural activities in Chinatown. BCNC has expanded services in the town of Quincy since 2013.
