What I liked

This company was a great way to experience a start up, I really enjoyed being able to try different things within the company other than sales. This was my first internship and was a great first experience to really see how things are done in a business setting. The work was remote most of the time although we could go into the office if needed which I really enjoyed.

What I wish was different

The one thing I wish was different is the internship offer more training. I had about a week or two of general onboarding, filling out the work then kind of just jumped right into selling, mostly cold calls. This was difficult because I was working on the enterprise sales speaking to quite a bit of high level positions for large companies.

Advice

My advice would be to really take full advantage of this opportunity, completely immerse yourself into the culture of financial technology, learn more about the payments space. Also make connections and get to know what others do in the company as well can help you understand how things work and reinforce your position to know how it works in with the entire company process.
