What I liked

I liked the experience of working on a project that could be implemented in a real-life situation. I also liked that I had the supervision of a faculty member who was very knowledgeable. His feedback led me to complete my project ultimately. I learned new things as well, such as working on Jupyter Notebook and machine learning.

Being an intern at CSU - Stanislaus is a lot of responsibility because you work on your project mostly on your own. You will have feedback from your faculty supervisor every week, but you must work things out independently.

I like the flexibility my job at campus provides regarding my classes. They are super helpful. And are always will to help.

It is not a very difficult job if you like what you are doing and how you manage your time.

Learn as much as possible, every job opportunity has its up and down, stick with it to the end and the reward will be amazing.

What I liked

What I loved about this job was my ability to cultivate my teaching skills in a college setting. I was able to help lead discussion as well as hold office hours for those students seeking help.

What I wish was different

What I wish would’ve been different is promoting my office hours and availability more to have a better outreach for students.

If you are hoping to gain experience as a Teachers Assistant for graduate school or even as a high school teacher, this is an excellent opportunity to get your feet wet.
