What I wish was different
While this was one of the best experiences of my life, this job required giving up a lot. I did not mind this seeing as I was able to serve through this avenue. However, I wish there had been more guidance through the job. This was my first year as a counselor at this camp and a lot of times I felt as if I was guessing. Frequently the returning counselors knew what was going on, but the new counselors did not.
