I am a huge fan of the work that Josh Mahony has been involved in and I loved that he decided to step up and run. I loved my co-workers and the work that I did, especially the more public-centered activities like the block parties, which had so much energy and like-minded people.

Advice
The longing for a better state is contagious and though I wasn't political at the start of it, seeing so many people's healthcare revoked (including mine) as well as seeing people of my same ethnicity be discriminated against made me want to fight for justice. These ideals continue even after the experience of working on a political campaign.
