I enjoyed the people that I worked with, the people at CRHA are determined to improve the agency. Additionally, I learned a lot about how public policy is implemented on the local levels and its corresponding difficulties.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have developed more hard skills. The majority of work I did was already with stuff I knew how to do.
Advice
If you want to work in advocacy this would be an optimal place to understand how advocacy and policy intersect.
