Great company culture. Finance teams (Operations and Corporate) are both very skilled and knowledgeable. Small enough finance team where you truly learn and do meaningful and skill building work. Sat on every meeting with Senior Leadership and got great exposure. Did weekly lunches with C-suite employees with the other interns (from various departments). Great career building opportunity with these lunches.
What I wish was different
Absolutely nothing,. As a SMU student, gaining an operational background is very important, as there are no classes that give you a true operational business skillset.
Advice
Always be willing to go the extra mile, and take the time to find efficient and recyclable solutions as opposed to one time solutions.
