What I wish was different
I wish I negotiated harder for a higher starting salary. Entering the professional world, I could have used my mentors and resources more to negotiate my contract more.
Advice
Take good care of your mental health and well-being. Nonprofit work within higher education can be highly intensive and stressful, so be sure to carve out time for your personal growth and health.
