I enjoyed that I was able to learn more about STEM, specifically engineering, while getting paid to do so. The kids where lovely, and I enjoyed looking after them.
What I wish was different
I wouldn’t change anything about my experience. I made close relationships with other counselors, and gained useful work experience.
Advice
I would say that if you unsure something is a fit for you try it. I’m not into sciences, so I didn’t know if I’d enjoyed counseling for an educational STEM program, but it was so much fun.
