I really liked learning to write a grant. I think it will be very helpful in my future as there are lots of grants involved in aerospace. I had great co-workers and flexible hours.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to work in the morning opposed to the afternoons because I was also taking classes and I prefer to not do my homework super late at night.
Advice
Take lots of notes! keep a list of things you need to do and when you are being instructed to do something (especially something new) make sure to take detailed notes on what you need to do.

I liked going out in the field to look at different sites and get their areas.

I should have asked more questions about things that I did not understand.
Advice
It is always good to network with people personally because you never know who can offer you an internship.

What I liked
The teamwork aspect and learning from my supervisors/co-workers.
What I wish was different
There were times where I wish clearer direction was given when starting tasks but supervisors were very receptive to questions and willing to help.
Advice
Show up to work everyday with a smile and a eagerness to learn and improve.
