I enjoyed learning more about the process of depositing daily revenue, scheduling staff, managing operations, and so much more. The people I got to work with were amazing, and all very helpful.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had a little more time to be trained, but being thrown into something is often the most effective way to learn.
Advice
I would encourage kids ages 16-20 to work for your city. There is plenty of room to move up, and sticking with the City of Muskogee since April of 2017 has been a great decision for me.
