What I liked
I was able to work in an office full of accountants. Interacting with professionals of my chosen profession everyday in a formal and informal sense was very enlightening, and made me ever more excited to go into this career. I liked meeting other interns and learning more about government work hands on.
What I wish was different
Advice
Even if you know your internship will not lead to a full time offer- whether its not available through the program or you find its not the company you aspire to work for- making connections is valuable either way. Expanding your network is never a bad thing!
