What I liked
I felt like I was helping an organization that I actually cared about.
What I wish was different
A lot of things. I was tasked to do things that a graphic designer should not have been asked to do. Worked on a program that is antiquated and not business standard. Was not given an creative direction. Had to self-teach myself many things in order to do what they requested.
Advice
If you really want to help an organization out they need it. But do this one with caution.

Flexible work hours. Able to get comfortable with different computer programs.

More variety in what I did, a working wage.
Advice
Take what you get and learn something from it. You’re going to be able to walk away with some new knowledge if you apply yourself.
