What I liked
Being away from home at the camp I used to go to as a kid, as well as, helping create wonderful memories for the girls that came through.
What I wish was different
I wish the Admin staff would have been a bit better at their jobs and handling stress, instead of taking it out on us.
Advice
Its a hard job, definitely take your breaks!

I liked having the flexibility of my free time and time spent with the campers.

I wish we had more activities for when weather didn’t go according to plan.
Advice
Be open to compromise and communication. Working with fellow staff and campers can be challenging but building strong support among staff and leaders really benefits what you get out of the experience!
