One of the best parts of the job was interacting with the girls as well as meeting my fellow co-workers, since many were all from different parts of the country. Sharing my experiences with Girl Scouts along with learning about others experiences too.
What I wish was different
Although even with COVID I am still happy that the camp was able to remain open for the girls to come, I wished that COVID-19 did not have to hinder the feeling of the summer.
Advice
Being adaptable as well as being open-minded is something really important if you want to do anything counselor related. Especially with all the craziness of this year, it is important to be aware that plans sometimes will have to change on the fly and being aware of that will help out so much in the long run.
