It was a great internship to get a lot of hands on practice. Up until this internship I had no experience with patients.

I wish they would have advertised the job opportunity better.

What I liked
I had the opportunity to work on multiple real projects that resulted in two internal research documents and potentially some material processes that a production engineer was pleased with and that could realistically be applied for scale up.
What I wish was different
The company really doesn't focus on engaging with the interns as a group or introducing them to each other until the summer, and especially in such a small town, it would have been nicer to know who else was interning there, especially because we we're all in different departments on site.
Advice
If you struggle in a small town environment, this may be a struggle for you as an intern, especially if you choose to take the housing stipend and move into your own apartment instead of taking the provided housing.
