I liked the people I worked with and how everything seemed to flow when we got busy. Everyone understood what they needed to do and there weren’t any pitfalls.

What I liked

I enjoy working with people. Before becoming a server, I was very introverted. Serving, however, allowed me to come out of my shell and learn how to interact with people who are in multiple different moods. I learned to communicate with individuals who were upset, angry, happy, and impatient. Learning communication skills amongst different types of people will be important in my future career.

What I wish was different

Nothing really. My experience was pretty great.

Advice

Understand that you will have customers upset with you over things that are not your fault, and that will get you through any customer experience job.
