I met a lot of like-minded people. I even made a few friends. There were decent benefits for full-time workers (especially considering the position) and a surprising amount of benefits offered to part-timers. The "sub" position is very flexible; you can go without a schedule and just choose which shifts you want to cover.
What I wish was different
The work was very demanding at times. I would have preferred a less stressful job.
Advice
Make sure that the environment you decide to work in is a good fit for you- if you enjoy the company of your coworkers, work seems a lot less like work.
