What I liked

I really wanted a job in the health & fitness environment, so the Y was the perfect place. It is such a positive environment and getting to know the members on a daily basis is something I'll carry with me to future jobs.

Advice

I really wanted to get to know everyone I interacted with at the Y because there are so many different people there. I now know plenty of members and employees in different departments than mine. So one piece of advice: don't stay in your own bubble, use the people around you to your advantage, but also because meaningful friendships come of them.

What I liked

I really liked the team environment and how supportive my coworkers and supervisors were. It was really great to be able to make an impact on kids lives.
