What I liked

I really liked making my own hours and being my own boss. I was treated like a professional most of the time and it was a breath of fresh air compared to some other experiences that I've had where I was only regarded as a student.

What I wish was different

I wish that the level of communication would have been higher. Handy currently only replies to "Pros" (the name they give employees) by email. This can make it a little difficult to get a quick response.

Advice

Show up on time, have more tools ready than you think you will need, absolutely get a ladder, and keep a written log of jobs done/upcoming ones because the app can go under maintenance or have a server overload which could interfere with your job. This only happened to me once but that was enough for me to want to write everything out.
