The atmosphere and people at Hedrick Gardner allowed for an extremely enjoyable experience. I never once felt uncomfortable or as if I could not approach someone with a question. I was given real tasks that added value to my experience and guided my plans for the future. Altogether, Hedrick Gardner provided a great structure for my internship that was truly beneficial.
What I wish was different
I don't think there is anything I would change about my internship experience with Hedrick Gardner. It was both beneficial and a great opportunity to learn about my field of interest. I have nothing negative to say about my experience and I would highly recommend Hedrick Gardner.

Talk to your professors and other faculty here at Hampden-Sydney to see if they can help plug you in with alumni. Never hesitate to reach out. The Hampden-Sydney network is a real thing.
