Everyone was super nice and outgoing. Great work environment.
What I wish was different
I wish there was no COVID so there would be more people in the office. I only got to experience a sliver of the close community they have built in the office.
Advice
Even if you are not interested in insurance, this internship have me great insight into the financial field in general. I got experience working in excel, prospecting, auditing, underwriting, and marketing.

What I liked
I loved the company culture, everyone was nice and happy to help with the projects I worked on. There are bad questions and if you were not able to get a project finished, although I finished all of mine, they were happy to jump in and finish the project for you. Additionally, every Wednesday they had an office bonding event for the last hour of work which was really fun and a great way to get to know the other people in the office!
What I wish was different
I wish that there was a better organization of the instructions and what is expected of you for the projects assigned. The majority of the projects were presented in an organized manner, but few missed the mark which resulted in confusion and wasted time.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions about the work you receive as it can save you a lot of time on the back end.
