This internship catalyzed my interest in real estate and allowed me to work on the entire deal process from creating a Pro Forma, communicating with clients, creating databases for buyers, etc. I would recommend this internship to anybody interested in finance, healthcare, real estate, etc. All the employees are willing to help and open to hearing new ideas.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more interns during my internship period, but the mentorship and industry experience I received was excellent.
Advice
Ask a lot of questions because all of the employees are willing to help you!

What I liked
I loved interning at Helios because of how intellectually stimulating the work was and the amazing work environment. Through the training modules and the opportunity to work on several live deals, I was able to learn so much about the healthcare real estate space and build hard skills (excel, financial understanding, etc.) that I'll be able to apply in the future. The team is also super approachable and dedicated to making the internship a valuable learning experience for all interns.

I loved my time at Helios because it was a small firm, with people dedicated to help you learn and grow professionally. I was constantly challenged and all of the work I did directly contributed to the company and the deals. The internship can be tailored to what you are looking for professionally. What I liked
I really liked that I was trusted with a lot of work, ranging from building financial models to finding competitors for our clients. I also liked how I was fully supported by my colleagues since day 1. People here genuinely want to be of help and support your learning through answering your questions and checking in with you to understand more about your working style. They are also really fun and cool people to work alongside with.
