The intern coordinator listened to my interests and found related content available for me to learn and observe. I was even recommended a 2-day seminar which I attended and was allowed to count in my required hours.
What I wish was different
Some of the staff's personal feelings towards other team members interfered with my experience. I believe I could have gained more from a specific staff member, and I had to seek this interaction out on my own time.
Advice
Come into your internship with an open mind. Be prepared to have busy days, but also know in some office settings busy work will be created specifically for your position. As is everything, you will get out of it what you put into it.
