Floater/Substitute

June 2017 • Seattle, WA

What I liked

The flexibility with my schedule and they have short (2 hour) or longer shifts so I was able to work in the midst of having other things going on. Also the administration is very helpful in accommodating your needs and allowing leadership and ways to get involved besides just working there.

What I wish was different

There wasn't much that I wish was different besides having enough people in the summer time but that is not necessarily something that could be controlled.

Advice

Being open minded and flexible/accommodating is a must for this job because they value children exploration and growth that you wouldn't expect out of any other children's center. Also feeling inspired by the things that the kids are doing and being inquisitive is a plus.

Sub/Float

September 2017 • Seattle, WA

What I liked

I like the flexible hours. I make my own schedule. The employers are very understanding and acknowledge that school is a priority.

What I wish was different

I wish the center was open for longer hours. Also, I wish it was open on the weekends since I do not have school on the weekends.

Advice

Apply if you want flexible short hours! I also advice to get this as a second job. I love working here.
