What I liked
I liked being able to work side by side with both nurses and doctors to further my knowledge and experience within the health care field.
What I wish was different
One thing I wish I would've been able to different is work more hours in the Hospital while balancing my schedule during the summer.

Go into this job with an open mind and willing to learn new things.

Incredible experience that allowed me to participate in a variety of patient care situation and gain valuable nursing skills and knowledge.
What I wish was different
More consistency in scheduling. I always worked 72 hours a pay period; however, my schedule was very variable.
Advice
This is a great learning opportunity to take advantage of. If you’re thinking about a nursing externship -apply for it!

I liked being able to create for the patients and getting hands on experience
What I wish was different
I wish that I hasn't worked night shifts, 7pm-7:30 am, those were rough.
Advice
Work hard for things you really enjoy doing, because if you actually enjoy doing out, it shouldn't feel as real 'work'.

It was a great way to experience the day-to-day roles of a PA. I absolutely enjoyed this internship!

Nothing.
Advice
Having prior medical knowledge really helped me with this internship. This way I could apply my knowledge and understand the patients medical history.
