ND Paper

Process Engineer

June 2020 • Biron, WI

What I liked

Awesome Team to work with, learn a lot about papermaking, and solving problems on the floor every day. Unique opportunity, not your average internship/ co-op, great co-workers!

What I wish was different

I wish I could continue working for ND paper after my co-op because this is a great place to learn and work as a team!

Advice

Always be open to learning more from the engineer and co-workers! Take advantage of the unique opportunities this mill and company provides to learn.

Summer help

May - August 2019 • Rumford, ME

What I liked

It was a different experience for me. I got paid really well and it helped pay for school.

What I wish was different

It wasn't a job for me. It's very hands on and technical with really tough 12 hour shifts starting at 4:30 a.m.

Advice

Just be prepared to make big mistakes. It happens all the time. Just make sure that no one gets hurt.
