In the past, the family office has owned an aviation leasing company, a grocery store chain, an auto parts company, and multiple other businesses.

One employee began as an IT Generalist with a desire to bridge into finance. His excellence showed early and he received the opportunity to work within risk management within two years of starting at Q. He then received steady promotions from risk management, to the trading desk, to credit analysis, to portfolio management, and finally to partner.
Another employee began in the hedge fund, then helped run the grocery business, then became the CFO of the bank, and finally now runs the foundation.
