Ravinia Festival

About Ravinia Festival

Company Description

Ravinia is both North America’s oldest music festival and its most artistically diverse. Over 100 different events by a mix of jazz, R&B, indie, pop, rock, country, and classical performers make up a typical summer season at Ravinia, which features the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in an annual residency. The Ravinia Steans Music Institute provides young professional classical and jazz musicians with career-advancing training, and Ravinia’s Reach Teach Play education programs engage 75,000 children and adults through music each year.

Ravinia is committed to maintaining the health and well-being of its staff, artists, patrons, and community. Current protocols for attendance can be found at and will be updated as they evolve. Additional guidelines for staff will be shared during the application and interview process.
