What I liked

It was an incredibly powerful experience that taught me the importance of Refugee Resettlement. Every day was a lesson on empathy and problem solving. I made connections that will last and had experiences that permanently changed me.

What I wish was different

I wish the refugee resettlement agencies received more funding and support from federal sources. The people who work at these organizations are amazing people who need more support to do their jobs effectively, without sacrificing their personal time or wellbeing.
