I enjoyed learning about different facets of the business. Being in HR, you get to oversee most of the company and how things are running. I liked the leadership role I got to play in coordinating many events between employees.
What I wish was different
There was a little bit of down time, which sometimes made the work day go by a little slower. Overall the experience was enjoyable.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to reach out to people or try to make connections in order to try for the internship or job you want. I was one of the very few interns who didn’t have a relative at the company, but I made some very great connections by reaching out and working there.
