What I liked

I love working with young kids and understanding their mind-state. I enjoy how everyday was a new channel to learn things and see how they use it in the life daily. While I was working as a summer councilor, I understood that their are multiple ways to solve situation and making sure that at the end of the day, you have thing in control. The kids in the program to me, wasn't just kids, they are young adults that were willing to understand why things happens the way they did and were also eager to figure out the reason or a solution.

What I wish was different

I should have make my relationship and connects with my colleagues stronger because they were my "life guide" and they were and are still there in my life to help me to be successful and understanding in things that were and still are new to me. My colleagues that I work with were by far the right people that I needed at that time period because they taught me things that I've not seen, experience or even realize when it was happening to me or in the job. For that I appreciate and have a lot of respect to them for handling and having control over things from day one.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask question and advice whenever your stuck because that what jobs are for. It's an experience for all of us to grow and understand what things or ways works in your favor or not.
