I liked being in a diverse work environment, getting to learn some ASL when I didn't know any at the beginning of the summer was very cool. It was also nice to be able to work on things that related to my major, I really learned a lot more of the technical side of my work than I originally had.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have delved more into specific aspects of 3D work such as texturing.
Advice
I would say, don't say you can't do something until you've tried it. I learned so many things this summer that I thought I'd never be able to do, and ended up being good at it. When an employer asks you to learn something, you buckle down and do it and it's so satisfying being able to deliver an end product you didn't know you could create when you started.
