The first SHIRU CAFE was founded in 2013 in Japan to provide opportunities for university students to learn about and prepare for their professional career. Now we have more than 20 cafes that are welcoming extensions of the university campus where students can collaborate and focus on their studies. Within the cafe, we provide career information and opportunities to connect students with our sponsor companies and support each company's university recruiting strategies for internships and careers after graduation.
Our mission is to provide a place for these connections with leading local and global companies and help university students bridge the gap between their university experience and their professional career. In addition to the recruiting platform, Shiru also offers free coffee, tea and espresso beverages to students in the cafe as well as free wi-fi and comfortable study spaces to work and collaborate with classmates.
